Six: How fast time flies.

Forgive me for using such overheard words for this entry's title, but it really does echo what I'm thinking right now.

How fast time flies.

I had lunch with my mother this afternoon, which isn't really out of the ordinary since we do eat together whenever I'm at home. Anyway, we did what we usually do over lunch - that is, to say, talk about the most random things under the sun. While we were talking (I think we were discussing iMac discrimination by video game developers), she suddenly realized that I was actually home and not somewhere else doing a project or watching a movie.

So she goes, "Tammy, are you not going out today? Weren't you going to a party with Andre or something?"

Me, a bit startled, told her, "Uhhh, Ma, no. Besides, the party's on the 22nd. That's 21 more days."

21 more days. It suddenly dawned on me that I only have around a month left for summer. It's as if the first half of summer passed me by like a blur.

Looking back on what I've done so far this summer, it feels as if I haven't done anything really interesting. Sure, I've gone out a couple of times (mostly with Andre, but meh, I don't think that counts since he's practically attached to my being now... not that I'm complaining, anyway X3), and I do go to school everyday for summer classes (so at least I know my brain won't be rotting for two months), but that's all there is to it. Somehow, I want more. I want to do more interesting things. I want to believe that I have the capacity to be not boring and lead a more fun-filled life.

Bottom line? I WANT TO GO TO ENCHANTED KINGDOM. Kidding. Okay not really. Maybe. I have this sudden urge to ride a very scary roller coaster. Someone please indulge me! :) Or hmm, dunno. Hopefully I'll be able to think of more stuff to do in this one month of freedom that I still have. Already dreading 1st sem because of General Chemistry.

(In other news: SA21 Midterms on the 4th. T_T I'm not expecting to get an A - God knows that my mind, though not fully rotting, is currently a failing a bit in terms of intellectual activity - but I'm hoping. Pleaaaaaaaaaaase lang.)
